Podere Sabbioni’s Ribona has been selected for Micro Mega Wines at Vinitaly 2020

Micro Mega Wines – Micro Size, Mega Quality

It is the new initiative of Vinitaly dedicated to companies with small productions, from native and international vines, but with a high quality rate.

The initiative is attended by those companies that with passion and tenacity try their hand at safeguarding and producing excellent wines from indigenous, almost extinct vines, and those that act as standard bearers of extreme territories that risk abandonment. The Micro Mega Wines space, in pavilion F, is curated by Ian D’Agata, a famous wine writer, among the greatest disseminators of the knowledge of Italian wines in the world.

IAN D’AGATA Creative Director of the Collisioni Wine & Food Project from the beginning, Ian is also Senior Editor of VINOUS, Scientific Consultant of Vinitaly International and Scientific Director of Vinitaly International Academy. His Native Wine Grapes of Italy won the 2015 Louis Roederer International Wine Awards Book of the Year, i.e. the Oscar for wine books, never before won by an Italian. He teaches Italian wine culture in the Master’s Program of the Food Sciences course of New York University (USA) on the Italian campus of the same.
